All volunteers are subjected to a background check and vetting by the Alpena Jets Board.

After submitting a request for one of the positions, the board will review the list, make a decision and send out an email with an invitation to complete a background check.  This will be at no cost to the volunteer.  After passing the background check, volunteers will be required to complete a Heads Up concussion online training course before taking the field.
